At least 25 players on the Los Angeles Rams have been placed in COVID-19 protocol, forcing their Sunday game against the Seattle Seahawks to be postponed.

The Rams home game will now be played on Tuesday, December 21 at 4 p.m. PST instead of the previously scheduled 1:25 p.m. start time on Sunday.

More than 100 players around the NFL were been placed in COVID-19 protocol this week, according to the Athletic, and according NFL insider Field Yates, 25 of those players were on the Rams.

The Rams game will be among the first postponed NFL game in 2021 due to COVID-19, after the 2020 season saw 18 total games postponed due to COVID-19 concerns. Also being moved around will be the Raiders-Rams game, which will now be on Monday at 2 p.m. PST, and Washington Football Team-Eagles game, which will also be played at 4 p.m., Tuesday.

Tickets will still be honored for fans who purchased them for Sunday’s game at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, but no refunds will be given for the postponed game.

The same testing and vaccination protocols will apply for guests entering SoFi Stadium, with fans needing to show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, or have received a negative antigen test within 24 hours, or PCR test within 48 hours of Tuesday’s game.

Fans also have the option of taking a COVID-19 test provided by SoFi stadium at entry gates 5 and 9. Tests at the stadium may be taken as soon as noon, Tuesday, for $59 and results returning in about 30 minutes.
