In most places during summer the temperature goes up, as well as humidity, so you will need to pay a little extra attention to both skin and hair.

Clinique added Aloe Vera, the OG in moisturizers, and it can also be used as a mask which makes this product work triple duty. Packed with Vitamins C and E make this a great antioxidant. Taking care of summer hair is easy with Kerastase; L’Oreal’s professional line for luxury products. For many years only found in salons, but can now be found at Amazon and also your local CVS. Kerastase Creme UV Sublime Hair Cream will block the UV rays that dry hair and also nourish the cuticle and tame summer frizz. As a leave-in conditioner, just use a small, dime-size amount to towel dry hair and comb through, then style as usual.
Start your day with a gentle skin cleanser. My new favorite is from JLo Beauty and can easily be found at Sephora. That Hit Single Gel Cream Cleanser feels great on the skin with a fresh scent and cleanses the skin without stripping the necessary natural oils. $38.00 for a tube and should last around 2-3 months.
Mascara can be tricky in the summer because many products claim to be water-resistant or waterproof but do not actually work well. The best product to go swimming with is L’Oreal’s Lash Paradise Waterproof Mascara found in drugstores, and even supermarkets everywhere for around $12.99. This one tube will last you all season and will give you waterproof lashes while infusing your lashes with flower oils to keep them soft and supple. Another triple-duty product that is waterproof, and adds volume as well as length.
For blush, you will want to reach for a cream-based color versus powder because it will last longer in humid conditions. Selena Gomez came out with her new make-up line Rare Beauty in 2020 and we are in love with her Soft Pinch Liquid Blush. This product has the perfect applicator and then just blend, blend, blend with your fingers for a rosy glow. $20.00 for a tube and comes in several beautiful cheek shades.
