After a culmination of events including raw footage of a contestant talking to her cupcakes before sending them off to be judged at Monday's bakeoff, Oprah announced New Jersey resident, Sue Compton, the Doughboy champion with her Mini Ice Cream Cookie Cups.

As we announced yesterday, 4 finalists out of the 100 hopefuls making the cut from the original 10, 000 Pillsbury bake off entries were whisked away on a private jet to Harpo Studios for today's Oprah show. The lucky audience sampled the four finalist's creations while the show cut to footage of Monday's baking competition.

Compton came up with the idea for her cookie cups after buying the list of eligible Pillsbury products and “fiddling around.” The single mother, who was once a self-professed “disaster in the kitchen,” was once told by friends to bring potato chips to dinner parties.

Asked what she would do with her newly acquired fortune, Compton said she would start by investing in new kitchen towels.
