Vehicle and Scooter Accident on East Avenue Struck a Pleasant Valley High School Student

CHICO, CA (October 21, 2021)  A Pleasant Valley High School student sustained injuries after a vehicle and scooter accident on East Avenue Thursday morning.

The incident occurred around 8:06 a.m. along East Avenue near Safeway on October 14.

According to reports, the teen was riding his scooter in the neighborhood when he was hit by an unknown vehicle.

Officers on the scene eventually released the teen to their parents. However, the events leading up to the crash are unknown at this moment.

Meanwhile, the CHP has not identified the at-fault driver. An active investigation, on the other hand, is now underway.

The Chico officials are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
