Pedestrian Hit-and-Run on Mesa Road Hospitalized One Student

ALBUQUERQUE, NM (September 22, 2021) – One student suffered injuries Thursday morning after a pedestrian hit-and-run on Mesa Road.

The accident happened around 6:46 a.m. September 16, at a bus stop on Mesa Road.

According to reports, a silver Dodge Durango instantly fled the scene after hitting a student at a bus stop in the area. Fortunately, a school bus camera captured the accident, police added.

Additionally, responding emergency crews transported the student to a local hospital and is expected to be okay.

Moreover, officials urge any witnesses or who knows the driver to contact the sheriff’s office at 505-866-2400.
