PickLargeStrings Brings Bluegrass Home: Michigan isn’t necessarily known for birthing great bluegrass talent. Blues, punk, R&B, hip-hop, techno – sure. But not the roots, folky, old time country music. Yet Michigan-born (and of course Nashvile-based) Billy Strings just picked up the Grammy for Best Bluegrass Album, for his Home record.

He’s celebrating with three livestreamed performances this week, on March 24, 25 and 26. The money raised will go towards Save Tip’s in New Orleans and SIMS Foundation in Austin.
