Corona means “crown” but there’s nothing regal about what is going on in the world right now. Drag Con — one of the biggest and most anticipated events to be canceled as virus spread and brought stay at home restrictions to L.A. and the world — is aiming to change that with a virtual celebration on what would have been the wigged out event’s big weekend at L.A. Convention Center. (Disclosure: We were set to host a few panels before it was nixed). For the first-ever RuPaul’s Digital DragCon, World of Wonder (creators of the con and Drag Race TV show) plans to air programming this weekend via their YouTube channel, presenting music, dance, comedy, lip syncing, exclusive Q&As, and glittering performances sure to slay.

Scheduled to appear: Acid Betty, Adore DelanoAquaria, Alaska, Artsy Busy, August Getty, Love Connie, Blu Hydrangea, Cheryl Hole, Craig MacNeil, Crystal, Cynthia Lee Fontaine, Darienne Lake, Denique, Deven Green, Dida Ritz, Divina DeCampo, Gaby Dunn, Honey Davenport, Jackie Cox, Jade Sotomayor, Jake Shears, Jan, Karen From Finance, Laila McQueen, Lil Miss Hot Mess, Madame LaQueer, Manila Luzon, Mariah Balenciaga, Mayhem Miller (pictured), Miami Knight, Miz Cracker, Mo’Dest Volgare, Mr & Mrs. Kasha Davis, Mystique Summers, Nicky Doll, Nicole Paige Brooks, Provvidenza Catalano, Rebecca Black, Scaredy Kat, Scarlet Envy, Shuga Cain, Sum Ting Wong, Tammie Brown, The Vivienne, Varla Jean Merman, Vinegar Strokes, Widow Von’du, Yuhua Hamasaki, Tony Hale (VEEP) and more former contestants from the Emmy-award winning TV show that changed the way we look at beauty, entertainment  and gender roles forever.
