We need this! The Obama Foundation’s My Brother’s Keeper (MBK) Alliance presents former President Barack Obama and former Attorney General Eric Holder in discussion with more community leaders in a virtual town hall titled  “Reimagining Policing in the Wake of Continued Police Violence” today at 5 p.m. Eastern Time (2 p.m. Pacific Time).  The death of George Floyd at the hand of a Minneapolis police officer last week and the protests and unrest that have followed mark an unprecedented moment in American history that have highlighted the problems of racism, police brutality and societal disparity. Obama created MBK after Trayvon Martin’s death to deal with exactly these issues and to provide opportunity for boys and young men of color. This online event was inspired by the country’s protests and aims to discuss solutions and actions for change. Wed., June 3, 2020. 2 p.m. PST More info on taking action via the Obamas here.
