It’s full speed ahead the next few days as Petersen Automotive Museum’s (virtual) Car Week revs up with Porsche themed amusements on Friday, and eye-popping car shows all weekend. The online event, which began on Wednesday, offers over 25 hours of original auto-themed content created by manufacturers, aficionados and fans. Hour-long videos will premiere on the Petersen’s YouTube channel and be available for viewing afterward, as well. Fri.: Legends of the Autobahn, Porsche Owners Club of America and The Quail (A Motorsports Gathering) present awards, walk-arounds, and garage and factory tours. Sat: Virtual shows from Concorso Italiano and Exotics on Broadway explore motorsports history and debut POV track footage while WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca premieres historic footage screening “A Lap Through the Ages.” Sun: Petersen’s Concours d’Elegance highlights the museum’s  virtual Concours competition with a panel of notable judges, while Ford unveils a new variant of the Ford GT, and garage tours keep the streaming event cruising through the weekend.
