No Age's stunner of a new album, Everything in Between, is out today on Sub Pop, and in honor of that occasion — plus the band's Thursday Bowl gig with Pavement and Sonic Youth — you can listen to the entire thing for free.
No Age are the subject of a feature in the current issue of L.A. Weekly (“Coming of No Age”), in which we accompany guitarist Randy Randall on that most holy of Craigslist quests — the pursuit of the perfect amp.
In light of the hometown band's ballooning success, he had this to say:
“I make notes to my 14-year-old self sometimes. Like, 'I know your room looks like Radio Shack and those kids at school keep making fun of you, but keep doing what you're doing.' I never thought I'd be able to pull one over, make people think we're a real band. That's how it feels sometimes — do people just believe us 'cause we say we can do it?”
