Stephen Lally Arrested after Pedestrian Collision near Bridge Street in Truckee

TRUCKEE, CA (April 20, 2021) – Authorities arrested Stephen Lally after a hit-and-run collision took place on Wednesday night.

Officers responded to a report of an unconscious person near Jibboom Street and Bridge Street around 10:30 P.M.

Per reports, 32-year-old Stephen Andrew Lally struck a man in his red Subaru. He then attempted to flee the scene in his vehicle.

Officers detained and booked Lally for DUI and hit-and-run after successfully arresting him.

Meanwhile, paramedics transported the injured pedestrian to a hospital. They were said to be suffering from severe head injuries, but is expected to be okay.

At this time, authorities have not yet released an identity of the injured pedestrian.

Additionally, Stephen Lally currently remains in custody on a $75,000 bond.
