25-Year-Old Man Killed in Pedestrian Collision near Adams Boulevard

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (April 28, 2022) 25-year-old Army Ranger Stephen Broadus was killed in a pedestrian crash on Beach Boulevard.

According to police, Broadus was walking along Beach Boulevard when the driver of a vehicle struck him around 4:00 a.m.

Paramedics arrived and transported the pedestrian to University of California, Irvine Medical Center for further treatment of severe injuries.

Further circumstances leading up to the deadly incident are still unclear.

Moreover, the involved driver stopped to call 911 and cooperate with authorities. Although, authorities have not yet released their identity.

Due to the extent of his condition, Broadus succumbed to his wounds and was pronounced dead on April 23rd.

At this time, police are launching an active investigation into the fatal pedestrian collision.
