Woman Dead, Man Injured in Long Beach Collision

LONG BEACH, CA (January 10, 2022)Stephanie Moreno died on New Years Day in a car accident on Seventh Street.

According to police, the crash occurred around 11:30 a.m. as 40-year-old Moreno of Long Beach was headed eastbound in her 2008 Honda Civic.

Her car went off the road nearing Los Altos Avenue, striking a light pole and two unoccupied parked cars.

Responders pronounced Moreno dead on the scene, while the man riding with her, unidentified in reports, sustained minor injuries.

As of this time, circumstances that led to the crash remain under active investigation.
