30-Year-Old Woman Killed in Pedestrian Collision on 105th Street

LOS ANGELES, CA (February 15, 2022)Stephanie Mendoza was killed in a pedestrian accident on Avalon Boulevard, late Monday evening.

Authorities said that the crash happened at the intersection of 105th Street and Avalon Boulevard just before 11:00 p.m.

For reasons under investigation, the driver of a vehicle struck Mendoza in the area. Despite life-saving efforts, medics pronounced 30-year-old Mendoza, dead at the scene.

Moreover, officers reported that speed may have been a factor and that a vehicle was impounded. The involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
