10-Year-Old Girl Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on La Salle Avenue
SEASIDE, CA (June 6, 2022) – Authorities arrested Stephanie Broaddus after a DUI hit-and-run on La Salle Avenue Wednesday.
The incident occurred on June 1st, in a residential area of Seaside.
According to reports, a white Toyota Avalon driver struck the 10-year-old girl as she was crossing the street.
In a now-viral video, the female driver appears to stop briefly before fleeing. Responding paramedics arrived and rushed the young girl to Stanford Hospital, where she was treated for fractures.
Police officers later located and arrested 51-year-old Stephanie Broaddus. Authorities suspect that drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident. However, an active investigation is still currently underway.
