58-Year-Old Female Pedestrian Fatally Struck near Las Vegas Boulevard

LAS VEGAS, NV (December 21, 2021) – Sunday night, 58-year-old Stefanie Turner was killed in a pedestrian crash on Agate Avenue.

The crash took place around 5:30 p.m., near the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard and Agate Avenue, as per the report.

According to police, Turner was using a motorized wheelchair to cross the intersection on Agate Avenue when she was struck by the 70-year-old driver of a Nissan Altima.

Paramedics immediately responded on the scene, and transported the female pedestrian to a hospital for further treatment. Despite life-saving efforts, medics later pronounced her dead due to the extent of her condition.

The surrounding area was closed for a brief time during preliminary duties, but has since reopened.

Investigators say Turner was inside a marked crosswalk at the time of the collision. Furthermore, the male driver remained at the site and exhibited no symptoms of intoxication.

At this time, the deadly pedestrian crash is still being investigated.
