Kyle Robinson is a toy maker in Eugene, Oregon. When he's not busy in the workshop, he makes chip music under the name Thretris. Eventually, he combined his love of 8-bit sounds with his talent for modifying objects by making custom Game Boys.

“As it turned out, a lot of musicians and collectors really enjoyed my stuff so I started doing a lot of them to sell here and there,” he explains.

Robinson's steampunk Game Boy is a favorite of ours. He says that the inspiration came “after seeing some really steampunk arcade mods online.” Check out his demo video for his gadget below.
