Over the weekend, Laurent Quenioux and Starry Kitchen's Thi Tran hosted their first marijuana-infused dinner; it was such a hit that the team already has plans for a second round. The next “(Weed+Chinese) Herb Dinner” will take place in a “secret Downtown L.A. location” on — when else? — April 20th.

The $100 5-course dinner will include “Monkfish, Congee, Cannabis Epazote Pesto, Nettles, Shiso Buds, Young Carrots” and a “Beef Culotte, Onion Bacon Cannabis Tart, Sunchoke, Morels.” For drinks, Daniel Nelson from The Writer's Room will pair cocktails with cannabis. Unlike the first dinner, where you filled out a personality quiz in a sort of Match.com-meets-OpenTable method of securing reservations, you only need to buy tickets to the dinner via Eventbrite. And, in case you're wondering, we're told that no special medical prescriptions will be required to attend. If that last bit convinces you to go, act fast: as of late Monday night, there are just a dozen seats left in the pot.
