Anschutz Entertainment Group, the company that runs Staples Center, announced over the weekend it was giving $10,000 to the man whose taxi was torched by rabid fans downtown following the Lakers Thursday night championship win over the Boston Celtics, according to ABC7.

The driver had told reporters that the cab was his livelihood and that, without it, he'd soon end up homeless. The Los Angeles Fire Department, meanwhile, released video of the torching in hopes that people might recognize suspects and come forward:

Anyone with information about the incident was asked to call the LAFD at 213-485-6095.
