THE HAMPTONS

Playwright/translator Christopher Hampton will be in Los Angeles next week to celebrate simultaneous openings. Hampton's translation of Chekhov's The Three Sisters, starring Jon Hamm, Jennifer Westfeldt, Tessa Thompson, Sarah Zimmerman and Reid Scott in a radio theater production for L.A. Theatre Works, and the West Coast premiere of his translation of Yasmina Reza's Tony Award-winning God of Carnage, starring Jeff Daniels, Hope Davis, James Gandolfini and Marcia Gay Harden at the Ahmanson Theatre, both open on Wednesday, April 13.
