That's the PR description for the “Free Performative Mixtape (dub)zeck being staged at Highways on Saturday, Aug. 1, 8 p.m. And it's free.

“Plunging Patty Hearst, 'Under My Thumb,' Motorhead, Baudrillard,

'The Message,' CNN, Chuck Norris, The Mickey Mouse Club, and other

fragments into the boiling tempest of Buchner's classic expressionist

text Woyzeck, a shadowy post-future America is mapped wherein all sense

of meaning in communication has been erased. Performed in English,

French, Polish, German, and Spanish.”

(dub)zeck is created by Princess Grace Award winner Patrick Kennelly, directed by Kennelly and Kate Fox, and features live sound orchestrated by Aaron Drake. The costumes are by Andrae Gonzalo of “Project Runway” and the lighting is designed by Matt Mellinger. The cast, who collaborate on the script with Kennelly and Sonia Oleniak, includes performance artists Paul Outlaw, Gregory Barnett, Justin Streichman, and actors Radick Cembrzynski, Eliezer Ortiz, Marissa Casados, Gia Battista, and Sonia Oleniak.
