The first Hollywood Fringe festival is now in full swing through June 27. Terry Beeman's Mental Head Circus, described a s mix of contemporary dance, aerial circus and traveling sideshow, performs at the King King Club, 6555 Hollywood Blvd., June 27, 6:30 p.m. (door open at 6 for drinks).

Back Stage and the L.A. Weekly are combing forces to maximize coverage. Over 40 reviews of the festival's first weekend from both papers will appear on this blog on Monday evening. Some of the Back Stage reviews will appear in the print edition of the L.A. Weekly, and vice versa.  All reviews from both papers will appear on each of the newspaper's websites.
