MASTERSON to head SCR

The Louisville Courier-Journal reports that Marc Masterson will leave his post as artistic director at the Actors Theatre of Lousville (which he held for 11 seasons, replacing Jon Jory) to take the artistic helm of South Coast Repertory in Costa Mesa. Masterson will take over for Martin Benson and David Emmes in April of this year, after completion of the Actors Theatre of Lousville Humana Festival of New American Plays.

Benson and Emmes are retiring after having been the founding artistic directors of SCR for 46 years.
