A state-and-local professional standards board ruled this week that porn-star-turned-teacher Stacie Halas was rightly fired by the Oxnard School District after it discovered that she had performed in hardcore porn.

The three-judge Commission on Professional Competence listed its findings in a graphic decision, obtained by the Weekly and embedded at the bottom (warning: NSFW language after the jump):

It suggests Halas moved on from one job at the Simi Valley Unified School District and was nudged out the door at another, at the Conejo Valley Unified School District, after administrators at both those districts had discovered her other profession too.

Among the panel's findings: Halas was indeed doing porn while teaching, despite her claims that she moved on to teaching and made a clean break with her adult past.

In fact one of the key causes for termination was dishonesty, alongside her inability to be a role model and her “immorality.”

The taxpayers got their money's worth in this inquiry because state officials were Googling the hell out of Halas, discovering that she performed in 11 scenes during a nine-month period in 2005 and 2006, according to the decision.

The panel even lists the titles:

“18 and Nasty 46,” “On Me POV,” “Anal Consumption 5,” “Boobaholics

Anonymous 2,” “Cum Swapping 2,” “Dirty Dan's POV,” “Eat My Black Meat 4,” “Girls

Hunting Girls 10,” “Interracial POV 5,” “No Cum Dodging Allowed 7,” “POV Pervert,”

“Semen Sippers,” “Super Size Me,” “This Butt's 4 U,” “Unnatural Sex,” “Who's That Girl,”

“Cheek Splitters,” and “Pussyman's Decadent Divas 29.”

And you know this would come back to haunt Halas: On one video she says it's “very risky” to be doing what she's doing “because I am a teacher.”

… At least I don't do the students …

The panel says she earned $1,500 per scene and about $18,000 total during her short career.

Halas claimed that she was coerced into the industry — contacted repeatedly by a producer once she joined MySpace in 2005 — and that was was also desperate for cash because of $82,000 in student-loan and credit-card debt. She also said she was helping her parents out.

She testified that she quit porn in August, 2006, which is when she started full-time at Simi Valley. But the panel found that at least one video was produced in October of that year. Additionally, the panel states:

The evidence established that Respondent worked as, and was paid as, a

substitute teacher on five different occasions, for four different school districts, between

February 1, 2005 and March 31, 2005.

A coach at Simi Valley High School reported to his boss during the 2007 school year that he thought he recognized Halas in a video he had seen online. She soon resigned.

Halas moved on to the Conejo Valley district, which was “informed” by Simi Valley “that Respondent was eligible for re-hire,” the panel states. “No additional information was provided.”

Again, a coach reported during the 2008-09 school year he thought he recognized Halas in a video. She was allowed to resign with a recommendation for her next gig.

Really.

When three girls at Haydock Middle School made a ruckus about Halas' participation in porn last year, the school's first response was to defend the teacher.

Wayne Saddler, assistant principal, looked it up and concluded that there were two Stacie Halas out there, one named Stacy, and that it must be the other one involved in porn.

He readied this memo to be sent out to parents in March, 2012 (it was soon aborted):

Stacie Halas decision by

You may be aware of a vicious rumor about a staff member in porn. This has been investigated and it is unfounded. There is an unfortunate similarity of names that has led to this situation. We ask that in every instance when you become aware of this rumor talk, discourage students from spreading rumors. Please also report names of students that are spreading it.

But the rumors persisted and two students claimed to have seen the teacher in action via iPhone.

Administrators scrambled to find out if it was her, even trying to view video on school computers to no avail; adult-content filters wouldn't let them. But soon individuals, including a teacher, used smartphones to view Halas in action.

As the heat turned up around her, Halas emailed this to the website xvideos.com:

Please help me! I made a mistake of making this film when I was young 20's [sic]. It has resurfaced somehow and connected with my real name now that I am in my 30's! I have had a teaching career for 7 years now &; [sic] very young students have been accessing this site and this video. It is horrifically affecting my career and the intermediate school campus. I hope that we can simply remove the video from the site.

The panel dug up these comments on Halas videos:

[D]ude she was only a school teacher for 3 years lol she was one of my

middle school teachers lol

[S]he was my 9th grade geo science teacher at Newbury Park HS like 4 years ago

I had that teacher

The panel concluded:

Although Respondent's pornography career has concluded, the ongoing availability of her pornographic materials on the Internet will continue to impede from her from being an effective teacher and respected colleague. More concerning was her character for dishonesty …

We reached out to Halas' attorney to see if she would appeal but had yet to hear back.
