Stacie Halas, the Southern California teacher who blew the mind of every eighth-grade boy ever, is sadly, out of work.

The Oxnard School District's board of trustees tonight decided to can Halas following last month's revelations that she starred in Big Sausage Pizza and other fine adult videos produced in San Diego about six years ago.

She still has a chance, however:

Halas has 30 days to appeal the decision. Fat chance?

We reported about a Florida man, Shawn Loftis, who was fired from his teaching job in Miami after he was found out as an ex-porn performer: A state education board said he could, in fact, teach again.

Halas.

Halas.

Oxnard superintendent Jeff Chancer told the Ventura County Star that knowing Halas' past would just be too much for some of those boys. (But lord knows their antennae would be tuned into teacher):

We're dealing with the disruption that we believe it would cause our district and the schools in our district if she were to return back to the classroom.

The Oxnard teacher's story is wild: She almost slipped through cracks after some students discovered her body of work.

School officials couldn't track down the video in question, apparently, because of the campuses' adult-site filters. A few enterprising teachers reportedly figured out a workaround, however, and soon top district leaders were aware of how Halas hollers.

San Diego-based producer Peter Romero apparently discovered her. He says she was “one of my favorite models.”

See a VERY not-safe-for-work performance by the teacher here.
