58-Year-Old Man Killed in DUI Motorcycle Accident near Run Way
MADERA, CA (October 3, 2022) – Wednesday night, authorities arrested Stacey Teixeira after a fatal motorcycle crash on Road 603.
The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m., just east of Run Way on September 7th.
According to reports, Teixeira was driving an eastbound 2016 Lexus on Road 603 when she made a three-point turn into the westbound lane. She then reversed into the eastbound lanes, directly into the path of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
Upon impact, the rider was ejected onto the roadway. First responders arrived and declared the rider, only described as a 58-year-old Coarsegold man, dead at the scene.
Following preliminary duties, officers arrested Teixeira on suspicion of driving under the influence.
At this time, Madera Police continue to investigate the deadly motorcycle crash and will release updates once available.
