Would you rather wake up from a sugar crash or a hangover after St. Patrick's Day? Yes, for revelers with a sweet tooth who also want to indulge during the holiday, Los Angeles bakeries will be baking Irish-inspired treats of a different kind to keep you smiling.

Buttercake Bakery in West Los Angeles has holiday cupcakes, shamrock petits fours, shamrock sugar cookies, and green velvet cakes in two sizes. And all Crumbs Bake Shop locations will be selling two specialty cupcakes: the 'St. Patty Good Guy' and the 'Lucky One.'

For today and tomorrow, Frosted Cupcakery in Hollywood and Long Beach will decorate their vanilla and chocolate buttercream frostings with a shamrock sugar sprinkle mixed with chocolate sprinkles as well as top their red velvet cupcakes with green shamrock chocolate.

Kiss My Bundt has a slew of flavors for the holiday. Top your morning with their Irish whiskey cake frosted with Irish whiskey buttercream, the Bailey's Irish Cream cake with Irish cream butter cream or Irish coffee cake with cream frosting. They also have a couple of Guinness cakes and a green velvet bundt cake.

If you'd like to learn how to make your own treats from scratch, Kiss My Bundt will be conducting a baking class tomorrow night with Irish-inspired spirits.
