Many in Los Angeles might remember Spundae for the electronic DJ euphoria it brought to Circus Disco, but even after that club’s closure, the San Fran–bred beat purveyors spun on all over the globe (currently they work on Avaland Saturdays). In a rare one-off under the Spundae moniker in L.A., the party pumpers join forces with Incognito this week for what promises to be an extraordinary night of “deep, tech, minimal, techno” with Spun-stars Cody Lee, Gil LA and Fei-Fei, plus Karin Bash and Apartment DJs. A definite dancey do. King King, 6555 Hollywood Blvd., Hlywd.; Fri., May 1. www.spundae.com. The next two nights feature more bouncing bashes — for a cause — at the Standard Downtown, where the annual Family Affair gathering offers a dizzying array of decksmiths (benefiting Surfrider Foundation and more): Turntables on the Hudson, Lee Mayjahs?, Isaiah Martin, mLe and Brion on Sat., May 2; Marques Wyatt, Chris Caparro, Rafael de la Cruz, Justin Paul and G-DUB on Sun., May 3, plus belly-dancing, live sitar, live painting and much more. 550 S. Flower St., dwntwn.; noon-8 p.m.; $20 each day. www.family-affair.org.
