If the post-Easter egg hunt doldrums kick in a bit too hard this year, the Spring Equinox Extravaganza might be the perfect antidote. This quadruple-threat affair features the mind-bogglingly marvelous antics of Bob Baker's marionette troupe, plus songs from the Living Sisters, that tuneful supergroup featuring (in today's performance) Becky Stark, Eleni Mandell and Alex Lilly, who'll converge for a delicious mixture of feminine wiles and retro folk-pop. Stir in the thoroughly unpredictable performer Charlyne Yi (Knocked Up) and a Cinefamily-curated collection of gaudy, springtastic film clips, and it adds up to a sweet diversion that's certain to rejuvenate the droop right off your Easter lily. Assuredly a blooming example of pure entertainment in its highest flowering.
