On Easter Sunday, Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel is offering Oceanfront Easter Brunch at Blue Streak Restaurant with a three-course prix fixe menu, a visit from the Easter Bunny, complimentary custom caricatures on the pool deck and live music on the Ocean Terrace. Menu items include brunch classics like crab cake eggs benedict, chicken and waffles, prime rib, fresh seafood platter and house made petit fours.

For your Easter Pasqua table, grab an Italian style Easter dinner for four from Eataly – braised lamb neck ragu pasta di Gragnano IGP alongside seasonal sides like peas and prosciutto with mint, ricotta salata and chili oil. If you are staying in or venturing out, Bianca at Platform in Culver City is offering an indulgent brunch menu that includes caviar, crepes, truffle pizza, mimosas and other Easter specials. Bring the family and inspire your child’s inner confectionary artist with a chocolate egg decorating kit. Reservations are highly encouraged and available on Resy.

Bakery treats inspired by the co-owner’s family traditions feature Italian, Argentinian, British and American pastries. Pre-order by March 31 on Tock: 

Colomba – An Italian Easter bread named for its dove shape. Dotted with Amarena cherry and chocolate chips, sprinkled with sliced almonds and lightly sugared. 

Rosca de Pascua An Argentinian Easter bread symbolizing eternal life. A brioche style bread with vanilla cream inside. Topped with pastry cream, candied orange peel and chocolate details.

Hot Cross Buns – A traditional pastry for Good Friday in the U.K. Lightly glazed sweet buns lightly speckled with black currants. 

Carrot Cake with three layers of cream cheese frosting. Naked on the sides, the cake is topped with cream cheese frosting. Approximately 8-11 servings.

For an Easter staycation, Las Brisas, the iconic cliffside restaurant with therapeutic views of the Laguna Beach coastline, will offer a three-course dine-in only Easter Brunch from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on their patio and extended outdoor dining area. Reservations can be made online or over the phone. There will also be a kid’s menu available for those 12 and under. First course options include a smoked salmon tostada with capers and pickled onions and corn mousse tostada with cilantro and lime. Main course selections include steak and lobster enchiladas with guajillo sauce, tomatillo sauce, rice and beans; lobster benedict, lamb chops and prime rib. For dessert, there’s tres leches cake with strawberries, traditional flan and chocolate swirl cheesecake.
