When the weather warms up, the creeps seem to come out like clockwork.

Police say this one has been working the northwest section of South Gate, where a 15-year-old girl on her way to school yesterday morning was his latest victim.

The teenager was walking near Liberty Boulevard and Elizabeth Avenue shortly before 8 a.m. when the suspect shadowed her, grabbed her waist and pulled her to the ground, according to police and TV reports.

He fled after she screamed, said South Gate police Lt. Darren Arakawa.

Cops believe the same hoodie-wearing man, described as 5 feet, 6 inches tall or so, with a thin build and a clean-shaven face, could be responsible for four other similar attacks, including groping, in the area this month.

Fox 11 News' Tony Valdez reported that authorities believe the same suspect was responsible for groping an 8-year-old girl.

All the other incidents involved girls and twentysomething women who were walking within a mile of Tuesday's attack, police said.

Anyone with information about the creep was asked to call police at 323-563-5436.
