According to sources, the Rolling Stones will not perform at Coachella, despite rumors to the contrary.
In December, Coachella was briefly listed as a tour stop for the band on their app, fueling speculation that they would headline the festival.
Then there was a lineup “leak,” which turned out to be fake. (These, however, are the funniest fake Coachella posters.)
More recently a picture of what people thought was a rock* popped up on the Coachella Facebook page.
One of our sources, a concert industry insider who asked not to be identified, says that negotiations were broken off over a money dispute.
The official lineup announcement is expected soon.
