59-Year-Old Man Fatally Struck in Deadly Collision near Broadbent Boulevard

LAS VEGAS, NV (February 17, 2022) – Monday night, Souheil George Medyati was killed in a pedestrian accident on Boulder Highway.

The crash happened around 10:30 p.m., near Broadbent Boulevard. According to reports, the driver of a northbound black Dodge Charger struck Medyati.

Due to the extent of his condition, paramedics transported Medyati to Sunrise Trauma for treatment of life-threatening injuries. Despite life-saving efforts, medics later pronounced the 59-year-old male pedestrian dead at the hospital.

In addition, the crash prompted the closure of northbound Boulder Highway near Galleria Drive for about two hours during the investigation. Although, the road has since reopened to traffic.

The driver of the Charger showed no signs of impairment and speed was not considered a factor. There are no further details about the crash as of this time, but the investigation is currently ongoing.
