Drunk Driver Arrested Following Car Accident on Soscol Avenue in Napa

NAPA, CA (July 13, 2021) – Authorities arrested 22-year-old Sofia Elena Quinones after a DUI crash on Sousa Lane and Soscol Avenue.

According to the police, the incident occurred around 8:56 p.m., at the intersection. Officers arrived to the area shortly after.

Investigators stated that Quinones attempted to make a turn from Sousa Lane to Soscol Avenue. There, a northbound vehicle struck Quinones’ vehicle.

As a result of the impact, one of the passengers sustained minor injuries from the collision. Meanwhile the other driver remained unharmed.

Eventually, medical personnel transported the patient to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center. Afterwards, authorities booked 22-year-old Sofia Elena Quinones to Napa County Jail for suspected DUI.
