The so-called “Geezer Bandit” has been on a record bank-heist spree across Southern California. He's been so prolific that we really have to wonder if he's a true senior citizen. After all, earlier this month a young Asian man flew from Hong Kong to Canada wearing a an incredibly realistic geezer disguise.

In any case, the FBI has confirmed a recent Bakersfield bank robbery is likely the Geezer Bandit's 12th heist.

Since August, 2009 he's hit banks in San Diego and Riverside County. Is L.A. next?

“The old Geezer Bandit is nothing but bush league. He's a nothing,” Mike Alerich, a retired Los Angeles County Sheriff's detective, sniffed to 10 News in San Diego.

Still, the station states that the Geezer “ranks alongside Jesse James and duo Bonnie and Clyde, who have each robbed 12 banks.”
