The recently revealed list of “Most-Instagrammed Locations of 2013” once again proves that Southern California has some of the most popular attractions on the planet.

Earlier this month Facebook's “Top Check-Ins in the U.S.” list had SoCal dominating for 2013.

In Instagram's ranking, New York tied us for the number of locales' in the top 10:

SoCal's top Instagram spots included perennial leader Disneyland at number 3; Staples Center at number 6; and Dodger Stadium at number 8.

New York's Times Square beat all SoCal comers by placing second behind the 2013 champion, Thailand's Siam Paragon shopping mall.

NYC's Central Park (7) and High Line park (10) also made the list.

If Las Vegas was considered to be part of Southern California (it almost is), we would have dominated this list too. Sin City's Bellagio Fountains, the king of selfie spots, made number four.

Here's the locations list:

Siam Paragon (สยามพารากอน) shopping mall, Bangkok, Thailand

Times Square, New York
