The Los Angeles Police Department has sobriety and drivers-license checkpoints checkpoints scheduled for Hollywood (Hollywood Boulevard at Las Palmas Avenue), North Hollywood (Lankershim Boulevard near Chandler Boulevard), and downtown near Staples Center (Olympic Boulevard west of Cherry Avenue and South Figueroa Street between 8th and 9th streets).

And if you're not sure if you're buzzed, you are. But, if you want to get a rough blood-alcohol calculation and you have an iPhone, there's an app for that. We tried it. It's sobering. But don't kill the messenger. Or anyone else for that matter.
