While riding Uber, a thought may have crossed your mind. Why not combine a weed delivery with vehicles and drivers flexible enough to serve all kinds of destinations? Snoop Dogg and others are aiming to make that dream come true.

The rap star is now a contributing investor in new delivery service, Eaze, which has already launched in San Francisco and is coming to Los Angeles soon. Dogg's Casa Verde Ventures is dropping a cool $10 million for a “Series A” funding round of the company, which plans to give medicinal marijuana users the ultimate quick connection to dispensaries to ease their pain. Other investors include DCM Ventures, Fresh VC and 500 Startups.

This investment will help provide up to 50 new staff and is being added to the initial $1.5 million startup so that the San Francisco-based company may continue expanding into other markets. Currently, Eaze serves 34 cities, according to a February press release.

CEO and Eaze founder Kevin McCarty says the company works only with dispensaries that offer top quality products. Delivery time is said to be a mere 10 to 15 minutes.

Dogg isn’t the only musician to position himself in the game. Weed fans can also look forward to checking out Willie’s Reserve, a marijuana brand launched by Willie Nelson, and may have to pop by a new medical marijuana dispensary in the OC opened by the Cypress Hill’s B-Real.
