The Bands and Fans Got Wild at Echo Park Rising 2017

Echo Park Rising highlights some of the best music in Los Angeles every year with a multivenue festival in Echo Park. Featuring a diverse showcase of local and nationally known talent, the festival takes over Echo Park with bands playing at the Echo and Echoplex, Taix, the outdoor Liberty Stage and various restaurants, bars and cafes throughout the neighborhood. This year's lineup included Lauren Ruth Ward, Surf Curse, The Buttertones, Miles Mosley, The Paranoyds, Brenda Carsey, Frankie & The Witch Fingers, Nightingale Rodeo, Popdefect and many others. Some of the shows got pretty wild, with lots of moshing and crowdsurfing and crowds at the Liberty Stage at one point knocking over a barricade. All photos by Mathew Tucciarone Photography.
