Peaceful protests took place throughout Los Angeles this past weekend — from Hollywood to Beverly Hills to downtown L.A. — bringing thousands (the majority wearing masks due to coronavirus) to the streets to speak out against racism and police brutality, and to support Black Lives Matter. Here, photos from Saturday’s neighborhood-organized demonstration in Highland Park, which saw a positive scene and no police presence.
