After a two-year stint at Anaheim Convention Center, this year’s 6th Annual L.A. Cookie Convention & Sweets Show took its show to Pomona’s Fairplex this past weekend, February 29 – March 1. While it was a bit scaled down from last year’s show, the convention still provided its core ingredients: demonstrations by celebrity chefs and influencers, including Ron Ben-Israel, Malia Brauer, Porsha Kimble, Audrey Dunham, Cynthia Puleri, children’s activities, and vendors from throughout the U.S. who came to sell gourmet sweets, special ingredients and baking supplies. Despite the new location and smaller scale, there were plenty of attendees who came to experiment with new flavors, stock up on goodies and maybe even pick up a few pointers for their own culinary excursions.
