Installing a new light fixture can be arduous, hazardous, and risky. A standard light fixture installation requires you to get on a ladder that can be shaky or unstable, use your hands to tighten screws, and hang lights while touching hazardous wires. Also, the weight of some fixtures can cause floors to give out or ceilings to collapse. For these and other reasons, installing new fixtures or replacing existing ones is not the most pleasant job. SKYX Platforms (NASDAQ: SKYX), a smart tech company, is changing that and revolutionizing the future of installation with its Gen 1 technology.
An industry leader for many years, SKYX Platforms is a highly-disruptive platform tech company simplifying and enhancing safety and automation in homes and buildings. The company currently has over 60 issued and pending patents globally aimed at revolutionizing processes by making them safe and smart. In a bid to make these processes more accessible to the public, the company completed its IPO in February.
“We believe that our products are a necessity in every room in both homes and other buildings in the US and globally,” shares the company’s Founder and Chairman, Rani Kohen. “As electricity is a standard in every home and building, our mission is to make homes and buildings safe-advanced and smart as the standard,” he adds. In late September, the company made a huge stride toward actualizing its dream by securing a 10-year roof right lease for signage on one of the tallest buildings located in downtown Miami.
The new building stands across the street from the Miami Heat FTX Arena and Biscayne Bay. This area is a US and international hub for world-leading companies, and SKYX Platforms has just cemented itself firmly among those ranks. Standing on top of the tallest buildings in the area, the company’s signage is expected to be seen by tens of millions, including on TV shows and in Miami skyline imagery. The founder says this is the first step in a long journey of elevating SKYX’s public profile and creating sustainable, long-term value for the company’s shareholders.
One of SKYX’s latest inventions is the SKYX plug, a safe and smart solution for light fixtures and ceiling fan installations. The company has taken advantage of ever-evolving technology to change an arduous process into one that can be accomplished by even the most novice homeowners. In addition to reducing labor costs, SKYX tech has created a less time-consuming, smart and safer product. Unlike other fixtures that take 30 to 60 minutes to install, the new Sky Plug takes seconds to install or replace a new light fixture or ceiling fan, making it safe, easy, and convenient for users.
Additionally, it is safe to touch and has a safe weight-bearing receptacle that makes it safer for homes and buildings. This tech became a National Electrical Code (NEC), making it the most significant change to the NEC in 40 years. This tech is also integrated with innovative features, including phone control, scheduling, dimming, and voice control features. It works with Siri, Alexa, Google Assistant, Cortana, and Smartthings, among other features. The team hopes to roll out new programs to enhance user experience and make life easier for consumers.
