The sisters of murdered Los Angeles restaurateur Monica Beresford-Redman say they're tired of waiting for action from the U.S. and Mexican governments regarding the extradition of her husband south of the border to face murder allegations in the case.

Jeanne Burgos and Carla Burgos say it's been a month since Mexico initiated extradition of the Rancho Palos Verdes man, who once produced television's Survivor; they want action. The pair demonstrated Thursday afternoon outside the downtown federal courthouse.

“We are tired of waiting,” Jeanne Burgos told CNN. “It's not fair.”

Monica Beresford-Redman's body was found in April near the Cancun hotel where she was staying with Bruce Beresford-Redman. He was immediately put under suspicion and told not to leave Mexico. He slipped back home in May.

“We are demanding that the United States authorities just do what they have to do,” Burgos said.

Monica Beresford-Redman owned the Brazilian eatery and night spot Zabumba in Palms.
