18-Year-Old Killed in Deadly Accident on New Mexico State Route 68
ESPANOLA, NM (May 17, 2021) – Siri Atma Kaur Khalsa died Wednesday morning in a multi-vehicle accident on New Mexico State Route 68.
The accident happened around 8:00 a.m., on May 12th, near milepost 17.
According to reports, Khalsa was driving a 1994 Toyota 4Runner SUV north when she collided head-on with a 2015 Subaru SUV.
Following the initial collision, a tractor-trailer collided with Khalsa’s 4Runner. Khalsa was later pronounced dead at the scene as a result of the impact.
Meanwhile, emergency personnel transported both the tractor-trailer operator and the Subaru driver to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
Investigators encourage witnesses with further information to reach out as soon as possible. Authorities will release additional information once it becomes available.
