Singer Chris Brown is reportedly under investigation for battery after a woman claimed Brown hit her on June 18.

The Los Angeles Police Dept. said it responded to an altercation at the 19600 block of Citrus Ridge Drive in Tarzana. In 2019, Brown posted his personal address after holding a public yard sale, which was on 19602 Citrus Ridge Drive.

According to reports from TMZ, no arrests were made and no injuries were reported.

Police were called to Brown’s home earlier this year after after hosting hundreds for a birthday party at a time when law enforcement was breaking up large celebrations that increased the risk of spreading COVID-19.

In a 2017 documentary, Brown detailed his 2009 domestic abuse incident with then girlfriend, singer Rihanna Fenty, where he was found guilty of felony assault. Brown said the singer grabbed his genitalia, whereas he responded by hitting her with a closed fist.

The current investigation will be transferred to the Los Angeles City Attorney’s office. Neither Brown nor a representative have addressed the allegations.
