Female Pedestrian Killed in Fatal Collision near Temperance Avenue in Clovis

CLOVIS, CA (December 3, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a pedestrian crash that left Sidney Carpenter killed Saturday night.

Officers responded to the incident around 7:00 p.m. on Bullard Avenue, just east of Temperance Avenue.

According to reports, the driver of an eastbound vehicle struck a pedestrian while crossing Bullard Avenue. The pedestrian, later identified as 57-year-old Sidney Carpenter, of Clovis died at the scene.

In addition, authorities also pointed out that Carpenter was not walking within a marked crosswalk at the time.

Additionally, the involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the officers. Although, authorities have not yet released their identity.

No further details have been provided. However, Clovis Officials are still currently investigating the deadly pedestrian crash.
