If you are looking for a night out of fun entertainment, L.A. is the place for you. There are numerous shows to choose from to make for a fun-filled and eventful night. Whether you are into theatre and musicals, or concerts with amazing musicians, L.A. has it all. All of these options are great for yourself, with friends, on a date night, or even with the family depending on what you chose!

If you want a kid-friendly show, check out Garden Concerts for Kids on August 6th and 7th at the Getty. This concert is a free, outdoor music series for kids starting at 4:00 p.m. on both days. It has some of the best children’s musical artists and is a great way to entertain the kids outside of the house.

Another option is Shakespeare in the Park for Families. This is also a free event that takes place on August 7th at 11:00 a.m. This event is great for all ages and is a high-energy theatrical performance designed for children while incorporating cultural and iconic texts from Shakespeare. This takes place at Culver City Media Park.

On August 6th, at the Santa Monica Playhouse, there is Snowhite: The Musical. This is another fun show for the little ones to enjoy. It costs $12.50 for kids under 12 and $15 for adults. It starts at 2:00 p.m. and will be such an exciting experience!

Now for some adult fun! There are many concert options with a ton of famous artists always playing here in L.A. Some of these artists include Red Hot Chili Peppers, Shawn Mendes, Kendrick Lamar, Leon Bridges, Elton John, Morgan Wallen, Post Malone, Callum Scott, The Lumineers, and so many more playing this August in L.A. There are also some amazing summer concerts at the Hollywood Bowl. The Hollywood Bowl is a great venue and is so iconic and always a fun experience no matter the show. Visit vividseats.com for more detail and for the different performers and dates/times.

If you haven’t been to the Pantages Theatre this is definitely one you must try. Moulin Rouge is such a famous and amazing musical and what better place to see it than in the heart of Hollywood at the Pantages Theatre Moulin Rouge has multiple show times throughout the week and at different times so it is perfect for a busy schedule.

From August 9th – September 11th, The Prom is playing at The Music Center in Downton L.A. New York Times describes the show by saying, “It makes you believe in musical comedy again!” This show is filled with happiness and laughter and it is a great light-hearted way to spend your evening.
