Osaka's greatest all-female Japanese pop-punk pixies, Shonen Knife serve up finely cut slices of throwback rock at the Echo tonight. After 27 years of intercontinental rocking, Shonen Knife have lost none of their signature cutesy, garage-quaking sound. In the '90s they were queens of the alternative scene, gracing MTV's 120 Minutes and recorded tracks for the Powerpuff Girls cartoon. At the Echo tonight, they will shimmy out the slightly Sixties pop-songs from their latest release Super Group, released August 25th.
