Pedestrian Hit-and-Run Crash on Manchester Avenue Resulted in the Death of Sherolyn Scott

LOS ANGELES, CA (October 20, 2021)  Sherolyn Scott, 64, died Saturday following a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Manchester Avenue.

The collision occurred about 11:25 a.m. on October 16 in the vicinity of Manchester and Normandie Avenues.

According to reports, the woman was walking in a crosswalk, when a hit-and-run driver from another collision, struck her.

Responding authorities pronounced Scott dead at the scene due to the severity of her injuries.

Meanwhile, the suspect’s car was stuck on 79th Street as they fled the deadly pedestrian accident. The driver then exited the car and fled on foot.

Detectives from the LAPD’s South Traffic Division have asked witnesses with information on the driver to call 323-421-2500.
