Writer and noted Sherlock Holmes expert Leslie S. Klinger discusses his new book, In the Company of Sherlock Holmes: Stories Inspired by the Holmes Canon. Klinger, who worked as consultant on the Sherlock Holmes movies starring Robert Downey Jr., co-edited this volume (with Laurie R. King) of original stories by Harlan Ellison, Michael Connelly, Sara Paretsky, Jeffery Deaver, Nancy Holder and others inspired by literature’s greatest detective. Also on hand will be Holder signing some of her young adult works. The event – hosted by various local Sherlockian clubs – includes champagne, tea and cookies.
